At BNI each business owner has 60 seconds to stand up and speak about their business. As a relatively formal affair, most are to the point and informative. Martha’s 60 second presentations, talking about Physiologic were always funny and innovative, using all kinds of props. The one that stands out was the time she had a bottle of wine on the table. Bear in mind that these meetings are held at 6.30am. We all assumed the wine was a gift for one of the members. When it was Martha’s turn, she stood up, opened the wine in silence, listening to that wonderful sound of cork popping. Poured herself a glass, that gurgling we all know so well, then with that infectious smile said “is there a more relaxing sound in the world than that? Physiologic, its all about relaxation”. So brilliant  in it’s simplicity. She always made us laugh, always made us think, always original, always kind.
